Collaborations

  • Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Group Corporate Governance General Directorate of the PPC Group S.A. and the “Economics of Financial Markets, Corporate Governance and Risk Management” Laboratory ([https://efmrcglab-unipi.com/el/](https://efmrcglab-unipi.com/el/)) for the promotion of scientific knowledge in areas of common academic interest and the development of collaborations within the framework of the Master’s Programme “Corporate Governance and Risk Management.”

  • The “Economics of Financial Markets, Corporate Governance and Risk Management” (EFMRCG) Laboratory of the Department of Economics at the University of Piraeus has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Luxembourg Business School (LBS), within the framework of their joint participation in the European University Alliance **EUonAir**, for which Professor Maria Psyllaki serves as the academic lead for the University of Piraeus. This collaboration aims to strengthen the Master’s Programme “Corporate Governance and Risk Management” through the development of joint academic programmes and courses, the conduct of joint research projects and conferences, the exchange of teaching staff and students, invitations to guest lecturers from LBS, as well as support for students in internship and career opportunities through the networks of both institutions. **Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)** with the “Economics of Financial Markets, Corporate Governance and Risk Management” Laboratory.

With the **Hellenic Association of Investors and the Internet (SED)**, a member of the **Advisory Committee of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission**.

Programme
1st Semester

The first semester focuses on the fundamental concepts of corporate governance, ethics, compliance, and financial analysis.

  • Ethical Conduct, Corporate Governance and Sustainability – 7,5 ECTS
  • Financial Analysis and Corporate Governance – 7,5 ECTS
  • Company Law, Compliance and the European Regulatory Framework– 7,5 ECTS
  • Project risk management – 7,5 ECTS
2nd Semester

The second semester moves on to more applied and technical topics, such as crisis management, internal audit, accounting information, and data analysis using technological tools.

  • Crisis Management and Internal Audit – 7.5 ECTS
  • Applied Accounting and Corporate Governance – 7.5 ECTS
  • Data Analysis and Technology in Governance – 7.5 ECTS
  • Empirical Methods in Research – 7.5 ECTS
Summer Period

During the summer period, students prepare their master’s thesis, conducting in-depth study on a specific topic related to corporate governance and risk management.
