Support Services and Administrative Support for Students
The support structures and services for students of the Master’s Programme play a crucial role in ensuring a comprehensive and successful academic experience. These services include academic advising, career counselling, mental health support, and access to digital resources and support tools for postgraduate studies. In particular, students have access to the electronic class platform, digital notes and learning materials, as well as technical support for resolving issues related to the use of learning platforms and tools. The University of Piraeus also provides access to a number of modern digital services, such as the asynchronous education platform e-class, the student information system for academic data management, online library services through HEAL-Link, and electronic secretariat applications, which support students throughout their studies and facilitate their communication with the University, teaching staff, and administrative services.
The services also include career guidance, mobility support, access to scholarships and welfare programmes, cooperation with the labour market, assistance in preparing CVs and cover letters, as well as participation in educational and social activities organised by the programme. In this way, collaboration, exchange of ideas, and the strengthening of student networks are promoted, contributing to their overall development and success.
Categories of Admitted Students
The Master’s Programme admits holders of a first-cycle degree from Higher Education Institutions in Greece or from equivalent institutions abroad, as well as graduates of the former Technological Educational Institutes (TEIs).
Members of the categories EEP, EDIP, ETEP, as well as administrative staff of the University, who meet the requirements of the previous paragraph, may, upon their application, be admitted as supernumerary students, with only one such admission permitted per year, exclusively to Master’s Programmes of the University in which they serve, and in accordance with the University’s Internal Regulations.
